Directions

From Washington, DC:
Take I-66W to exit 43A (US-29 S) and follow Route 29 to Warrenton. In Warrenton, turn right onto US-211 W. After about 10 miles, turn left onto 642 (Viewtown Road, which turns into 640/Forest Grove Road). Follow the road for 5 miles. Make a right at the stop sign onto 729 (Richmond Road, which turns into 618/Laurel Mills Road). After about 5 miles, continue straight past Route 618 (Hope Hill Road) for about ¼ mile. The Meadows at Castleton office is on the right.

From Culpeper:
Take N Main St (US-29 BUS N) until it becomes 229N. Turn left onto 729 (Eggbornsville Road, which becomes Richmond Road, which then becomes 618/Laurel Mills Road). Continue straight past Route 618 (Hope Hill Road) for about ¼ mile. The Meadows at Castleton office is on the right.

From Charlottesville:
Take US-29 N until you reach downtown Culpeper, then follow the directions above.

From Richmond:
Take I-95N to Exit 133 and merge onto US-17 N/Warrenton Rd toward Warrenton. After about 30 miles, turn left onto 802/Springs Rd. This will become State Rte 621. Turn left onto US 211 W. After about a mile, turn left onto onto 642 (Viewtown Road, which turns into 640/Forest Grove Road). Follow the road for 5 miles. Make a right at the stop sign onto 729 (Richmond Road, which turns into 618/Laurel Mills Road). After about 5 miles, continue straight past Route 618 (Hope Hill Road) for about ¼ mile. The Meadows at Castleton office is on the right.

Before You Arrive 

If you would like to rent a golf cart to use during your stay, we are happy to connect you with a rental service guests have used in the past. Massages, chauffeurs, babysitters, private cooks or catering for large groups, and other services are also available upon advanced request.

Cancellations 
Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to check-in will be fully refunded.
Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made fewer than 14 days prior to check-in are non-refundable.

Canine Information & Policy
We are excited to welcome you and your canine companion to Castleton. All pets must be approved in advance. Please note:

  • Per-pet fee: $75 (plus tax)

  • Weight Limi:t 65 lbs per pet

  • Pet Limit: Larger house 3 pets, smaller houses 2 pets, cottages 1 pet

Additionally, please ensure your pet is fully trained, appropriately restrained, and complies with all local laws. Please keep your pet on a leash when not in your house or cottage.

Cell Phones & Wifi
Cellular reception is spotty for most carriers. However, all houses are equipped with Wifi and a landline for local calls.

Check-In
Check-in time is from 4:00pm on the day of your arrival. Earlier check-in may be arranged upon availability.

Children
We are a family-friendly property and allow children. Please let us know if you will require a high chair. Babysitting services can be arranged upon advanced request.

Discounts
We gladly provide a 10% discount for active military and first responders. This discount applies solely to the person booking the reservation and proof must be provided.

Fitness Center
The fitness center is located next door to the cottages and offers treadmills, stationary bicycles, rowing machine, and free weights. Towels are provided.

Groceries & Shopping
For basic items, the nearest store is the Laurel Mills Store, located about 2.5 miles (five minutes by car) from the farm. They also have a small deli counter.

There is also a 24-hour 7-Eleven just under 20 minutes away on Route 211 towards Warrenton. Otherwise, we are a 25-minute drive from the town of Culpeper (SE), 30-minute drive from Warrenton (NE), and a 35-minute drive from Front Royal (NW).

How far away are you from Shenandoah National Park?
We are about 25 minutes away from the Thornton Gap entrance station on the line of Rappahannock and Page county.

Pool
Castleton boasts a custom, geothermally-heated indoor pool, and hot tub. Ask for pricing.

Safety
Please remember we are located in a rural area with wildlife. Please keep all trash in receptacles with lids on and call if they need to be emptied.

Smoking
Smoking and e-cigarettes are prohibited indoors. Please dispose of all cigarette butts in proper receptacles. Any smoking odors left in the property will result in a cleaning and deodorization fee.

Visitors
